Service Description
Treatment will specifically address TMJ (jaw) dysfunction and is not a full body treatment. Symptoms of TMJ dysfunction may include: Jaw clunking, locking, or excessive lateral movement. Pain in one or both sides of the jaw that may spread to the face, and neck. Headaches Uneven bite or closing/opening of the mouth Uneven jaw alignment not related to the jaw/teeth structure Tension in the jaw causing restriction Pain around the ear, or ringing in the ear. Difficulty or pain when chewing. Your initial appointment includes assessment, manual Massage Therapy including intra-oral work, and with consent may include Dry Needling. The above are general symptoms of TMJ dysfunction which Massage Therapy seeks to resolve or improve with appropriate soft tissue (muscular) manual therapy. If you require a diagnosis, have urgent, sudden or severe pain or dental related pain please seek care from your Dr., or dentist. I do not offer a diagnostic service or care for dental issues.
Cancellation Policy
1) A non-refundable deposit is required when booking. *Where 48+ hours(2days) notice is provided to alter a booking, and the appointment is rescheduled, the deposit will be credited to your next booking. One date change is permissible per booking. 2) Requests to reschedule must be to phone number: 0468 334 127, no email requests. 3) No-show, cancellation or re-scheduling your appointment with less than 48+ hours (2 days) notice will result in the full-service fee being payable prior to any further appointments being accepted.
